Summer's Over

The kids started back to school yesterday. Isaiah took it rough, he's going threw a separation anxiety stage (which he skipped as an infant so I guess he's making up for it)...I could see him trying very hard to hold back the tears. I was praying we didn't have another incidence like we did w/ camp, w/ the full blown meltdowns, and we didn't...so I was very proud of him. Xander was so excited he was awake by 3am! So far we're off to a great start. We won't know until sept 2nd if Xander will be invited into all day kindergarten. More than 1/2 the kids will be invited, so I think his odds are pretty good. I really hope so because I get next to no sleep right now! I get off work, unwind and go to sleep around 3am...get up at 7 am w/ the kids, go back to bed about 9:30/10...and get up at 11 to get Xander to school, so if he went all day I could sleep from 10-1:30 which would make a HUGE difference for me...so we'll see!
