Haven't done a review in a while...I guess I haven't tried anything new lately...but this week, I finally tried this 365 brownie mix I got from whole foods. OMG it was SOOO good, does NOT taste GF/CF at ALL, and I honestly hate most GF/CF foods! All 3 kids LOVE it, I loved it...a very great find, highly recommend!

Food Review Friday (GF/CF)
As I was grocery shopping the other day, a product I'd never noticed before caught my eyes...it was honey nut chex. I don't ever remember seeing a honey nut chex before, but apparently it's been around...but what is new about it, is it is now Gluten Free!!!! Big huge letters on the front of the box, I was so excited!!! There's very little variety in cereal in the GF/CF world, so I'm always excited on a new find! I must say it was very good! It stayed crispier longer than reg chex, and I like the little extra sweetness that plain chex doesn't have! I don't like most of Isaiah's foods to be honest, but this is good and will def be a pantry staple from now on!!!

Food Review Friday
Lets talk about PIZZA!!!!!! What kid doesn't love PIZZA???? So when I found these personal sized pizza crusts, I was quite excited! Isaiah LOVES them...we throw a little home made pizza sauce on them, and some pinnaple chuncks and throw it in the microwave, and he has himself a meal!
Pros-Make's a quick yummy easy meal, love the personal pizza size
Cons-maybe a little more crumbly in texture than regular pizza crust, but not bad at all
Rating 4... 1/2 stars!!!

Food Review Friday
The brand Road's End makes lots of GF/CF cheese products, to date I've tried 2. One is a boxed mac and cheese, and the other is just the cheese (use your own noodles). To put it simply these products are NOT GOOD! I was so excited to try it, as Mac and Cheese use to be a staple lunchtime food in our house...I won't make anything for Tierra and Xander, if I don't have a GF/CF sub for Isaiah...so I was REALLY hoping that this would be it. Everything I make for Isaiah I try myself, and this was inedible to me! Besides the fact that it comes out GREEN, it doesn't even remotely taste like mac and cheese! I added some butter flavor crisco and extra milk sub to try and salvage this. I couldn't eat it, but served it anyway in hopes he might like it, as he is less picky than I am. He ate about 4 bites, and that was it...he didn't care for it either. I recommend you don't waste your $4.00 on this box of Mac and Cheese unless you have the most unpicky kid in the world!
I give it one star...the noodles themself are fine, but the cheese sub is disgusting, never mind the fact that it doesn't taste like mac and cheese, it is just plain GROSS
Recap:
Pros, quick and easy to fix
Cons, Tastes bad
Rating 1 star

Food Review Friday (GF/CF)
[Glitterfy.com - *Glitter Words*]
Since we went GF/CF there are a few foods Isaiah has really missed. Donuts are way up on that list! Now I have found several recipes for to make these from scratch, which is great...but I don't have a whole lot of time on my hands. Between my full time job, running the kids between school and sports, and taking care of the house...I hardly have time to make one home made meal a day, much less to try and throw in all the extras. This week, when I took Isaiah to his DAN! appt, I stopped by a health food store not far from the office. This store was great, and has a much larger selection of GF/CF foods than the health food store in my town. One thing I found was DONUTS!!! Kinnikinnick's ready made donuts!!!! YAY!!! Isaiah and I were both very excited. I only bought 2 boxes because I wasn't sure if they'd be good. One was maple glazed and the other was cinnamon sugar. These were in the frozen section. We took it out and warmed it up in the microwave for a few seconds. It was REALLY good! My biggest complaint w/ GF/CF bread products are that they are so crumbly textured and often fall apart as you're handling them. But these donuts are REALLY good and kept their shape ! Next time I go back I plan to buy them out of all their donuts lol. So Kinnikinnicks donuts get rave reviews from me, and my GF/CF son!!!
